SFP 68 - Episode 68: Inspiring the Next Generation: Unlearning and Unteaching Solution-Focused Practice with Dr. Biba Rebolj
“SF is still very very different because it really offers the clients to take over to decide for them what’s better. And I have never seen anything like that in any other approach.”
“I don’t see young people disengaging. I see this as me not having found the right way to find their unique ways of cooperation yet.”
“I see myself and others who are new to SF to take the responsibility for the approach, so that it survives into the future.”

Dear Biba, Elfie and Dominik,
I have to share that story.
At the SF world conference, I sat with a few of those wonderful young SF person. Biba rallied them and me (a woman who’s not that young;). A picture was taken. I looked at it often – with hope. They are eager, they are pushing us forward, they demand for more. You make me hopeful about the future, the future of the Solution Focused Practices and the future, period.
Thank you Biba for being so candid and open. Thank you Elfie and Dominik for collecting these treasures.
Brigitte
Thank you so much for highlighting this, dear Brigitte!
Dear Brigitte,
my day has been very nice so far, but reading your comment has totally made it in ways I had no idea one’s comment could. Funny, you have been in my thoughts a lot lately and I’ve been wanting to write to you for a while now. Seems our feminine intuition was mutual. Thank you so much for your words and I love the “rally” bit! Hope (yes, always hope!) to see you in the not too far future. Keep shining yourself and have a wonderful event in Canada! X
Nice work Biba, keep being you, love what you and the guys from Essex are doing. You and others (the new wave) are most welcome and most needed. Love to see you back in New Zealand sometime. If not I’ll definitely catch up in Europe sometime in 2020. Unlike you, I do remember my life before SF….which is why I am SF now, lol.
Thank you dear Paul, one of my SF people I look up to with great respect and admiration. I have it on my mind to come back to New Zealand, yes. Hopefully sooner rather than later and to check it out how SF over there is evolving (you’ve certainly got a bunch of great people there!). Thanks for your Youtube videos too. Onwards!
