SFP 22 - Episode 22: Energized: Interview Bob Faw about energizing ourselves and others
“I started using solution focused approaches and started looking out for the things that are working for them, and what’s happening and where there are best examples and where they want to go. And people just lit up. And they now treated me like a welcome friend or like an uncle coming to help them out versus this intruder.“
“The more I can use activities to bring out the Solution Focus, so that they own it, they express it, they feel like this is the way to be instead of me telling them.”
“One of the big things is looking for what is beautiful in other people. I first started doing that so that I did become a less judgmental person, that was the big goal. And what I did not realize is that it also would make me a much happier person.”
