How happy I am that I’ve listened to this podcast right now!
The words of dr. John Murphy resonates so much with me!
RESPECT – trust – trust – trust your client – attitude – genuine want to know – respectful curiosity – what can I learn –
And above all:
“It’s the strongest selling point for working in a sf way (…) .
It activates & empowers those very important common factors of change correlated very highly with outcome.
(….)
THOSE factors I put in first, then (..) techniques ….”
Vey much in doubt lately whether I will go forward in what I feel is sooo very important: connectedness and everything related to that, I know by now: I WILL!!
Thank you again Elfie and Dominik for a wonderful podcast including dr. John’s lovely, genuine music!!
Thank you Bibiana for your energising voice! When the podcast is finished I always go back to the beginning to make sure your voice is in my head and a smile is on my face when reflecting on what I’ve wonderfully learned this time!
Dear Ella, thank you so much for your comment. We are happy that you listened to this podcast too. The words around respect you mentioned above resonated with us very much too. IT’s amazing how John describes what respect in action means. When we visited John this was visible in everything he did. It was so inspiring. And it’s so great that you WILL go forward with connectedness and everything related to that. We are curious to hear more from you about that. And thank you for mentioning Bibi and her voice – we go back to the beginning quite often too 😉
Great podcast and inspiring challenge of the week. It gave a new boost to a project I’m working on. Many thanks for all your podcasts, Elfie and Dominik. Pure gold!
Thank you so much, dear Anton! That means a lot! Looking forward to hearing more about your project 🙂
Thank you for this podcast episode! I really liked the quote by Steve deShazer that Dr. Murphy mentioned: “You never know what question you asked until you hear the answer”. The challenge of the week was also nice, when the question was asked, who would want us to succeed, an unexpected mentor came suddenly to mind, it is a good way to identify resources around us we did not realize!
