Choose your answering spectrum

As we saw yesterday, most answers fit the answering spectrum of the question.
We can enlarge the answering spectrum by asking open questions (e.g. What difference would that make?) and we can reduce the answering spectrum by asking about specifics, like a special time, a place, a person, etc. (e.g. What differences would that make for your partner tomorrow morning at breakfast?)

Play with the answering spectrum of your question
Check the last question that you asked: Try to make the answering spectrum as large as possible. And then reduce the answering spectrum to the minimum possible. What differences would you expect, if you asked these two questions?
