Amazing Gaze
With our gaze, we coordinate our conversations.
When one person speaks the listener usually looks at the speaker and the gaze of the speaker wanders around. At one point the gaze of the speaker comes back and a gaze window occurs – both speaker and listener look each other in the eye – usually followed by a display of listening by the listener, e.g. a nod, and a signal by the speaker. With this, the conversation can go on without interruption.
Gaze a little longer
When someone talks to you today just stay with your gaze a little bit longer than you usually would. What difference does that make?
